The River Bandits came away with an exciting 5-4 victory with a walk-off single by Noel Cheneau with bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th.
Lukas Veinbergs picked up the win on the mound. Cheneau led batters with 3 hits.

The Bandits bats came alive but it wasn't enough to overcome the effort from the Winchester Royals' 14 hits on the night. Woodstock lost it's second game in a row with the 10-6 loss.
Easton Fuller took the loss for the Bandits on the mound.
Austin Young led the team with three hits and two RBI's.
June 4, 2016
The Bandits were handed a 9-2 loss on their second rain-shorted game in a row. Woodstock fell to 1-2 on the season.
Zach Perkins picked up the loss for the Bandits. Noel Cheneau and Jacob Tisevich led Woodstock with two hits each.
Woodstock's two runs came in the seventh before rain set in and the game was called.
June 3, 2016
The Bandits picked up their first win of the season with a 7-4 rain-shortened game at home against Strasburg. Woodstock improves to 1-1 on the season.
Strasburg gave up seven walks in the game. Three of those were given up to the first three batters of the game. Woodstock capitalized scoring twice in the inning.
The Bandits were led by Eric Garza and Nick Ward who both had two hits each. Noel Cheneau led the scoring with two runs across the plate. He reached base all four times he was at the plate - all four were off walks.
Hunter Morgan picked up the win on the mound for the Bandits. He pitched five complete innings giving up all four runs.
Moderate rain moved in during the bottom of the sixth inning. Umpires called the game at the end of the inning.

The home opening for the Bandits was postposed due to rain that hit the area just a few hours before game time. The home game against Winchester is rescheduled for 8 p.m. Monday, June 20.

The River Bandits opened their season with a loss at Front Royal Wednesday night.
Starting pitcher Brandon Hester gave up one run in 5 innings on the mound in the loss. That run coming in the fifth inning.
The Cardinals only gave up three hits on the night while the Bandits stranded 8 base runners.
The three hits for the Bandits came on singles from Cole German, Jacob Tisevich and Charles Hyman.
